Meet the Baker Boys

We started in 2021, two brothers and one tray of brownies.

We got better batch by batch, and sold them one neighbour at a time.

Then car boots. Then markets. Then people started asking for boxes.

One of us is Head Chef. The other is Head Taster. We take both jobs seriously.

Good to know

How long do they keep?

Best fresh. Fudgy for 5 to 7 days in an airtight container at room temperature, up to 2 weeks in the fridge, or 3 months in the freezer wrapped in cling film and then foil. Thaw for a few hours, or a few seconds in the microwave.

Do you do special occasions?

Yes — birthdays, weddings, baby showers, corporate gifts. Custom flavours, toppings and personalised packaging, with discounts on larger orders.

Privacy Policy

Short, honest, and in plain English.

Bang On Brownies is run by two young brothers. Their parent, Sean Heron, is responsible for any personal information the website collects. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. We have kept it short and in plain English.

What we collect

When you fill in the order form on this website, we collect:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your phone number (only if you choose to give it)
  • what you would like to order
  • the date you need it

That is the complete list. We do not collect anything else on purpose.

Why we collect it

We use this information to reply to your message, agree the order with you, bake it, and deliver it. Nothing else.

We do not send marketing emails. We do not run a newsletter. We do not profile you. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it with anyone either.

Our legal basis

Under UK data protection law, our lawful basis for holding your information is “legitimate interests” — in plain words, you have asked us to bake for you, and we need your details to do that.

Who else sees it

Two service providers handle your information for us:

  • FlexiFunnels, which hosts this website and receives the form when you submit it
  • Google Workspace, where we read and reply to the email you send

Both are suppliers, not people we sell data to. Nobody else is given your information.

How long we keep it

We keep order enquiries while the order is being arranged, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you have a follow-up question or we need to deal with a complaint. After that, we delete the records.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • ask what we hold about you
  • have it corrected if it is wrong
  • have it deleted
  • object to us holding it
  • complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

Cookies

The website may use cookies that are needed for it to work, and basic visitor statistics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children
